4.3 Death page 12

There is a competition on one of the facebook groups I'm in atm, where the challenge for the month is ...page finishes.  Hey, why not I thought, means I can work on Death AND possibly win stuff!  Always good.
Beginning of the month

Page 12 finished!  And it's only the 4th!
Best thing is that having that page done, it means I only have 3 partial pages (2, 3 and 8) and 2 full pages (6 and 9).  AWW YUSS

Another small bits sections, done in Fiberlicious Xmas Wreath and Siren Song

4.1 The 2015 update

Well.  Remember way back when (ok, start of last year, but still), when this pattern began?

Such humble beginnings!

Yeah well, it came back out again this year.  It's my main goal for 2015 to get this finished.  And since I can almost SEE the end of this one now, I WILL GET IT FINISHED DAMNIT.  Anyway, here is what I've managed to get to so far...

3.12 Updating cos I've been slack ....

Death at the start of February

Death as it is now, folded and put away for a break.
Queen as of today, and about to go back in my frame after traveling to Dunedin for a night.

The heart that will be a cushion soon.  That red fabric at the bottom?  That's what the edge of the cushion will be.  And yes, pics will come of the cushion when it's done.

And to finish it all off, another sunset.  Welcome to Autumn

3.07 Catching up

Death on the 9th, I haven't taken pics since then but there is a chunk more done

The beginning of Happiness...the SAL with Es and Fatema that I ended up starting early...

Part one

Part two

Part three

Part four

The beautiful sunset

Part five all ironed up and ready for the framing efforts.

As it was mothers birthday, I made her a cake...with 3 packets of maltesers covering the outside, and cream cheese icing inside.  It was a chocolate overload.  Took me two days to finish my slice =<

3.01 2014 Begins, and stitching continues along...

Dawn on New Years Day in New Zealand.  Then it started to rain.  Sigh....
I'm activly working off 7 pages at once....following the colour blocks where they lead.

....which is proving interesting.

The circles and spirals are starting to appear, and the beak of the phoenix (attempt 2, it was a rough night stitching for both me and Es.)

Then I started getting sick of yellow again.

And decided to start working on the phoenix again.  He's getting there!

2.46 Tarot: Death update

The very top left corner

The cool purple at the bottom, cos I got bored of yellow.

And then I decided to do stuff in the middle.

2.43 Update from Kat

Stitching update before I forget...

So the Tarot: Death is doing ok, I've just been enjoying the sun more of recent.  And my new art project, but I forgot to take pics of that, and I'm not putting yet more photos on my computer, making it the third effort in the last ten minutes alone.....

Instead, I shall leave it with sunrise yesterday morning.

2.41 The new stitching project and artwork

Yups, as if I don't already have enough projects on the go, I went and started another one.  I couldn't help it.  It was so pretty, and I've been eyeing it up for MONTHS.

Then Kaz came to visit, and decided to get it for me for my Xmas gift.  <3

When finished, it shall look like this:

Given it's 200 stitches wide, and 334 stitches high, and I'm doing it on 28 count evenweave .....let us just say it will take a while.  But so pretty....It's another HAED picture, by Stephanie Pui-Mun Law, and it's part of her Tarot series.  This one is Death.

Stitching after the first day.
But things haven't been just stitching.  No, I've managed to time the sunrises and sunsets, in order to get more pictures (if only we hadn't been having these fog issues, I would actually HAVE more to show off), I've been doing more Peter Rabbit pictures, AND tried my new art project.

Such a simple concept, but omg it turned out well.
And the best thing about this new art project?  I have so many new ideas of how to make it better and more fun.  Mwahahahahaha
