2.45 My Framed Project!!! (And My New Scissor + Fob Collection)

So my first project was off to the framers. Michael's had a Black Friday discount of 60% + 20% off or something... and the framing for this ended up to be $115 or so. (Was going to be $195 but I took off some stuff like the third matting and they had this inner decorative edge.) So I had to wait 2 weeks to get it back... I was antsy and excited.... until I got it back.

They messed up and it was off centered!!! The border top was about 1cm exposed, and the bottom 1cm was covered up!
You can see the 3 rows of emptiness....
So, even though it was nice to see the frame and everything, it had to be sent back.

Two days later... I brought it back and it's fixed!! yay!!!

See how it lines up right to the edge now?
The whole thing, with flash.

A slight close up.
And now... I am happy! Just gotta figure out a place to put it!! One day, I'd love the have the HAED version all stitched up and framed so they stand side by side with each other.

Also... Recently, I went on Ebay and bought some scissor fobs and needle minders from the nicest lady EVER. She and I talked extensively and is an incredibly sweet person. I had these custom made for me, picked out all the charms and beads and she put them together for me. She went above and beyond what I ever expected from a seller. I orginally started with thinking I would just get one. But she had so many things to choose from that I decided to make it into 2 sets, 1 of them being a Christmas themed one as it is so close to Christmas.

Set #1! With butterfly needle minder.
I originally fell in love with the bubble heart charm, added the rhinestone seashell, and she special ordered the chihuahua charm for me! It was just so gorgeous!

Christmas set! With snowflake needle minder.
Then, I found the snow flakes, and rhinestone heart, and she told me she had these angel wings and gorgeous enamel bell and glass bead.... So, there were wayyyy to many charms to fit into one, and I made the second set. I looooved them.

So, of course now that I have two sets, I needed more scissors to go with them! While I was at Michael's dropping off my frame to be fixed, I saw the Gingher Lion Tail ones. Since I already had the gold stork and couldn't seem to find online the chrome stork scissors, I decided to get the chrome Lion Tail ones. Then.... when I went to pick up the frame, I saw that the Lion Tail ones were in the wrong place! And they were covering up the Chrome Stork ones just underneath!! I, of course, had to get them! Now, I have my little scissor collection. Who knew I'd love scissors? But now, it seems I am missing 1 fob set... hrmmmm....

The twin storks and their fobs.
The lonely Lion Tail without his fob =(
That's all for now!!
